Pietta of Italy produces the Great Western II Alchimista I for SASS Hall of Fame company E.M.F. This six-shooter is a traditional 1873, paired with an 1860 Army grip frame. The grip is longer and slimmer than a standard 1873, and just sits better in the hand, as well as points more naturally. The single action revolver has a competition trigger that is wider and set back, allowing more room in the trigger guard. The Alchimista II adds a lower, wider hammer. Cowboy action shooters will immediately recognize the Alchimista as a serious competitor.
