The 1873 peacemaker-style revolver, originally designed for the U.S. Cavalry, quickly became the archetypical sixgun of the frontier. This Cimarron Model P features a cased-hardened post-1896 Pre-War frame, where the cylinder base pin retaining screw is found on the side of the frame, in front of the cylinder. The MP410 has a 4 ¾” barrel and is chambered in the ubiquitous 45 Colt. This Model P has one piece walnut grips and the Standard Blue finish.
Cimarron’s 1873 Colt replica has been reproduced in every detail from an original 1873 single action in their antique collection, and was not replicated by working simply from drawings, as with previous reproductions. Cimarron also took extra steps to improve the gun’s reliability with our Cowboy Comp action which eliminates weaknesses associated with the 19th century design.
