The Rooster Shooter is a replica of the Colt Single Action 1873 used by Wayne in many of his great westerns, including his Oscar winning performance in “True Grit”, where he brought the colorful character Rooster Cogburn to life. This reproduction 1873 is chambered in .45 Long Colt and features orange grips and a distressed blued finish, giving it the appearance of having spent a long time outdoors in a holster. It’s more than just a collectible, though. Like all of the 1873 pistols made for Cimarron by Uberti, this one is a tough, reliable shooter.
